In 2023, the first edition of the Senescence in Aging and Pathology (SenAP) Symposium took place. After its great success, we are happy to announce a second edition, which will take place on October 7th in Diepenbeek (Embuild building).
As you know from the previous edition, our symposium covers the exciting topic of cellular senescence, which has gained significant attention in recent years due to its emerging role in several fields. This year, we will cover the involvement of senescence in neurodegenerative diseases, cancer resistance, environmental factors, and aging.
You can expect an exciting and diverse day with several experienced speakers from different backgrounds. Confirmed speakers are Prof. Dr. Mario Pende (Université Paris Cité, France), Prof. Dr. Mikael Simons (Technical University Munich, Germany), Prof. Dr. Oliver Robinson (Imperial College London, UK) and Dr. Boshi Wang (University of Groningen, The Netherlands). In addition, young researchers will be given the opportunity to present their work, share information, and expand their networks.
You can find more details about the speakers, registration, and the program on our website (https://www.uhasselt.be/senap). Registration is open until September 23. Would you also like to present your own research? The deadline to submit your abstract is September 7.
We hope to see you again at the SenAP Symposium!
